Glory

Hannah Bagshaw was born in Norwich in 1983. She graduated from University of the Arts London in 2005 with a degree in Fine Art and has lived in London ever since.

Hannah works using traditional hand drawn and digital processes and enjoys inventing characters and scenarios that are strange and slightly unsettling. Her work is centered around narrative processes and the linear notion of cause and effect.

Hannah has had work published in two editions of the acclaimed poetry anthology “Stop Sharpening Your Knives”, on-line art and culture magazine “Platform” and has completed a series of illustrations for a modern take on “The Dance of Death” also containing poetry, due to be released this Autumn. More recently, she has undertaken illustration work for a new magazine called “The Brute” including designing its logo, and is completing work for a small press publication on British birds.
