Jui-Yi, Chen (Theresa) was born in Taiwan, she always has a passion for fashion. After she graduated from the university, she moved to Japan and studied fashion (stylist course) for two years. Then, she decided to be a fashion illustrator and moved to London.
In her work she combines a variety of techniques: from classical drawing through to experimental collages and embroidery; she is intention of the surface qualities by mixing intricate patterns into the shapes and spaces within the drawing. Her project come from a mixture of observations of people’s daily wear.
